What I am up to lately

Well I have been doing some digital art for the last week and even though it takes longer than the hands on I am so use to I have enjoyed it ... but that means I don't have anything to show with this posting ... so if you want to see a small sample go to Jeri Aaron's blog, An Artful Gathering, I did her banner and I have a new banner for my blog ..... I am also working on a line of graphics for paper ... keep watching .......... Linda

these are more Shabby Chic or Country Chic .... used some vintage children ... click to enlarge ... piece is 2.5"x3.5" + beaded fringe & hanger ... these to little ladies have found new homes one went to Kathy Wasilewski and the other to Virginia Madison I am sure they will be very happy in there new homes ... thanks ladies

I had such fun with the other 2 I decided to do another one .... I made Momogami background paper for this one, then added bits and peices, put in a little micro beading bottom right, another image from vintage playing cards some paper flowers enhanced with glitter gel pen/glitter glue/beads and ARTchix Gold German scrap ... piece is 2.5x3.5" + beads & German scrap ... click for larger view

these are done with alcohol inks background, book page scrap, playing card image, ARTchix black German scrap, a few bobbles, bangles & beads and a little bit of fiber ribbon ..... piece is 2.5x3.5" ... click for larger image .... the little lady on the right has gone to Rhonda Bell's house to live and I know she will be happy there the alpaca and kittens to keep her company

Anita your tomato red and yellow ocher is complete .... I thought I was going to do something form the 50's with there colors but when I sat down the Orient kept whispering in my ear ... it's canvas, silk and fortune sticks ... click to see larger view ... piece is 8.5x11"
