Christmas Tip-in also

I used a Sizzix die to cut out a grunge board tree sprayed with 2 colors of green Glimmer Mist ... laid on the background of red Glimmer Mist and stencil ... added a strip of hymnal page and jingle bells accented with the poinsettia at the base of the tree ... I did just a little shadow work on the edges of the page with the negative of the tree grunge board cut out .... stamped Merry Christmas with Versa Mark then embossed with fine gold embossing powder

Christmas Tip-in

This is a pure joy to make .... it's a tip-in instead of a Christmas Card ... I used red Glimmer Mist for the background with a stencil and 3 greens sprayed over each other for the tag .... then took a page from my hymnal and crumpled it and used distressed linen inkpad to do direct to paper on the high spots then over that I used metalic gold inkpad to do some of the high spots, heat set that ... used ARTchix German scrap wings behind my lovely image and embellished with fabric poinsettes and ribbon then added just a little bling ....

Christmas Play Day

I had a great day yesterday at a friends ... she had some artist over suppling us with great goodies, samples and wonderful food ... then let us play ..... these are my results .... it's fun to see how many different looks different artist can come up with when given the same goodies ....

Finally new art ......... my stress reliver

I had promised this to a fellow artist a few months ago and life got in the way so it is now complete .... thanks for being patient Susan

I am working on an AB and just wanted to give you a little glimpse ...... I have done some more of the altered cabinet cards and I think this will be it for awhile ...... it's getting close to time to think about Christmas cards and such ........ ATC's & Card form the Retreat weekend

As everyone else sleeps in, I did some ATC's and a Thank You card .... to me the best part of the day is morning having a cup of coffee watch the sunrise and create some art ........ what could be better than that ........ click to enlarge
