Our Daughter and Son-in-law just found out they are having a little boy in the spring .... it's going to be raining babies for this GG and Grandpa .... 3 little blessings in 2013 how lucky are we ....

Getting my Halloween on ....

Twin news

got a phone call late yesterday from our CA kids and the twins are growing at a good rate and looking super ... it also (not 100%) looks like we will be having a boy and a girl .... is that not perfect ... with a father that is 6'6" and a mother that's 5'2" wonder what the outcome will be ...... it really doesn't matter cause they will be prefect no matter what .... one happy GG

to me the waterfall fountains symbolize the many tears shed on this day, the park of green trees that life will go on, and the underground museum so we will never forget the ones that die that day ........

STAMPtember with Tim

I was doing a little playing and decided to work with Tim's stuff on STAMPtember ... it's been fun and I like doing some of this stuff just most of the time I want to "get her done" so I don't take the time to go thru all these steps ...... go on over and watch his video then have fun ..... the metallic doesn't shine like it does in real life but you can see it there it just look white ...

"Olde Curiosity Shoppe" journal

This is what I have been working on for several weeks, not that it's that complicated to make just that life kept happening and wouldn't let me work as often as I wanted to .... I will use this as a photo/journal of some future event, therefore so many blank spots and mats/tags to add things to .... I enjoyed using the G45 metal butterflies by embossing them and using the Vintaj Patina system to color and age them ... of course Tim Holtz dies makes it easy to cut interesting things on the edges of pockets to add lots of visual interest ....  if you like the construction of this book you can easily make one just follow this link to my online classes for full instructions ... http://lindamanningfindley.blogspot.com/2015/06/i-have-had-request.html  .... hope you enjoy

GREAT news!!!!

our California kids are expecting TWINS .... they are due end of Feb. to mid March 2013 ... so you may be seeing some baby art ... I know for sure I am going to have to get busy making burp clothes and such ... we are so excited 2 little blessing at one time, just wish they were going to be closer to us but totally understand their parents have to be where the work is ... after all my DH and I took our kids half way around the world when they were little because that is where the work was .... this is their close up ... ;-)

LIFE ...

Christmas in July - nothing like it

Came back from a super art retreat where we made this Christmas book ... had such a great time, laughed so much my side still hurt and I have been home 2 days .......

ok it's getting close to July 4th so play day was a door hanger or bottle hanger .... oops almost forgot my Banner ...
