Reworked Row Houses

ok so some of them just didn't make me happy so I reworked them .... Jeri came by this morning and we were sitting around talking and I was telling her I wasn't real happy with these 4 so she made suggestions and I got out the grunge board and paint and did some slightly different things than she said and these are how they left my house on their way to her house and the swap system ....... oh in case you can't tell the first 2 have actual stenciling done with the negative part of the grunge board ...... there just aren't enough flourishes in the pack of grunge board but that might just be me cause I LOVE flourishes ...... click to enlarge

Peach-Antique Iinen-Walnut Ink

The cover of an 8x8, 7 Gypsy book, I will be working in along with 9 other artist ..... this is the cover of my personal book ...... decorative paper, grunge hinges, chipboard house cut out that I gessoed and reversed printed words on then direct to paper with Ranger Antique Linen ink pad then cut out an image of little girl with her dolly applied it to the house trimmed with antique peach & ivory tatting, roof is covered with Momagomi paper and last but not least a rhinestone broach that is a very pale peridot green, the satin ribbon is really satin smoke coming from the chimney ... then I added a bird charm that I applied gold on top of the silver ....... click to enlarge

ok I added to #1 and now I am happier with it ...... and then today I did #2 & 3 and at the moment am happy with them .... my lady is a transparency and I can see the camera in the refection but couldn't seem to get it out today so you get to see it ... click to enlarge

For Mailmania 3 in Canada

Each year I try to send it at least one item to the Mailmania in Canada this happens to be year 3 ... my other entry for this year seems to be lost in the mail so I did this and we will see if it makes the long trip from TX to Canada ... click to enlarge

AB RR for online group

I am in a RR with 3 other people (4 people per book) my theme is "Fashion" and I am getting my spreads ready then I will need to do some work on the covers of my book before it's sent off ..... I am not going to post all of the spreads (3) today but here is one ... the colors aren't quite true on the spread photo's but really close on the close up of the corset .... click to enlarge

Sneak Peek

I am doing a 5 for 5 tip in swap with an online group and the theme is "Recycle-Reuse-Scraps" ... so this is just a little glimpse at what mine are so far ... the scraps were from another couple of projects and so small I came close to throwing them away (so glad I didn't) the frog was brown and off an old blouse of mine so I died (with re-inker) it black to match my color scheme , the guarder hose clip was from a girdle I still had from the 1960's .... will post more later ..... click to enlarge
