Good Morning, Thank You card

Love this Sizzix embossing folder die cut ... I decided it needed to be a sunrise in the woods with a little robin greeting the day ... after I did the ink sunrise I embossed that cardstock with the tree, then sanded off the color so it would look better, then mounted it behind the Sizzix embossing/die cut one and added the bird for that set ... oh I colored the bird with watercolor markers first the popdot it on the branch ... the Thanks is in that die cut/embossing set also ...

Guy cards ... or not

The light reflects off the metallic paper and I didn't use a flash ... anyway the background is using Tim Holtz new 3D embossing folder and it really does make a deep impression ... don't know if you can tell but the left one is copper, middle is brass/gold and right is silver/stainless ... I wiped them with black acrylic paint then wiped it off pretty quickly to get the detail effect ... love doing these and will be making more in the future ... oh I got another 3D folder that I will use also

Holiday Book

I have been wanting something to display for Holiday's in my 1/2 bath so guest can view .... so I finally got around to doing that for most of the Holiday's still need to complete the others ... so here is what I have so far ... oh some are times of the year instead of Holiday's ...

My daughters birthday and so I had to make a card for her ... love G45 paper and this Sizzix Thinlit Die ...

Fussy Cutting

Another neighbor came and we did some fussy cutting and very easy cards ... she was happy with the results but not very fond of fussy cutting ...

My neighbor wanted to make some Washi Tape cards that would be good for any occasion so she came over with all of her Washi Tape and we came up with these ... they are positive and negative of the die cuts and Washi Tape ...

I am using the Shaving Cream technique from my last post but using red ink and adding embossing powder that has red and gold sparkle to it ...

This one is using a Worn Flannel stamp and popped up hearts with a LOVE stencil ...

Did a bit of scraps and glitter work along with dry embossing and gold leaf

Embossing with gold super fine powder and some pearl-x in water to spritz flowers and matt

these are doing Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and spritzing with water then doing the droplets of water ... quick easy and pretty ... oh the black flowers are die cuts as well as the Happy Birthday

These I can use for Birthday, Get Well, Thank You, Just Because .... I need more of this type since my supply is running low ....

I forgot to mention that the backgrounds are made with the Distressed Oxide Inks, kind of fun to work with ...

A few more Christmas Cards

Think I am thru designing and just need to settle on one to do several cards ...

This one was fun to do ... after cutting out the Tim Holtz tree trunks thinlette die I got out one of his stencils that reminded me of snow falling and did some embossing paste with it and dusted "Distressed Rock Candy" glitter and gently pressed it into the paste ... let that dry and drug my "Faded Jeans" distress ink onto my falling snow embossing folder then embossed a white cardstock for the background ... when all was dry I mounted them onto a silver cardstock card

It is again 9-11

so again I am posting that we never forget the tragedy that happened this day and the people we all lost ......

Seventh Altered Book of this RR

This is our last book of 2017 RR .... this one was something I had a bit of a problem with because her theme was "Favorite line for Favorite Book" ... well I have many books and lines to chose from but difficulty picking ones ... I ended up picking Gone with the Wind but had a problem with just one line so .... this is what I did for it .... told you I had a problem picking just one ..... lol

now the next spread was easier ... it's "Romeo and Juliet" but still had a problem with just one line .... so
