Yep time to make Christmas cards!

Christmas decorations are starting to go up ... I wait till the weekend after Thanksgiving to do mine but I start making cards long before that ...  

the Peace card is done with navy cardstock, spritzed with pearl spray then put into the Snowflake 3D embossing folder and lightly drag silver metallic ink over it, oh about a 1/4" in on all 4 sides was smugged with black to give a bit of shadow ... I stamped Santa on white cardstock then colored then used color pencils the background paper has gold metallic swirled thru it so I took solid red card stock 1/2" wide and laid 1/4" metallic gold stirp over it to surround Santa and put it on a gold metallic card

this is the same red and gold metallic background paper but I die cut the Reindeer/Merry Christmas from gold metallic and put the card front on a gold metallic card   

the poinsettia is made from HaFrey leaf die cut using Tim Holtz metallic paper in red and green then placed in an embossing folder to give demotion and arranged on white cardstock placed on a red card

Thanksgiving is around the corner

 Well, it felt like fall last week and summer this week but the calendar says Thanksgiving is soon so here is me wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving...I give thanks for all of my family and friends and my health!

 I saw this fence-looking card on Pinterest and it intrigued me so I sat down to make one. I think I will make more of them it was simple to make ... I also did one other fall card ...

 I was going through my box of Christmas cards I have received over the years and thought someone else should enjoy these little jewels now so I remade them a bit and will be sending them on this year ...

Online swaps

 Catching up on some online swaps and it's getting harder to get these done, time just runs out in my days now and I still can't see getting much done ... lol ... this is the first junk journal I have done in months ... lots of Tim Holtz little people

More cards

 These are from scraps, I am trying to find the top of my table and the scraps go back several months, so it's past time to start the clean up ... it seems cards are about all I can get done these days ...

Oh yes more cards

 My stash of premade cards has run very low since I haven't been working at the art table for almost 5 months ... so I got busy and did these very simple ones to add to my box of premade

This image is one I found online and loved, I just printed it then took some white cardstock and used mica spray to add the red/gold color cut it to size nipper the corners and wrapped gold metallic thread around it, and mounted it on craft cardstock card    

For this one, I used white cardstock an ancient cube stamp that has bees and other insects die-cut a bee happy words and used Tim Holtz stencil and fosslizied amber ink, mounted it on black cardstock then added it to a yellow cardstock card

These are what I call a 2 for 1 ... the die-cut is done from a piece of watercolor paper I used 2 green inks from Tim Holtz cubes smeared over the cardstock using the little round dobber, then spritzing it with water let it dry, and cut the flower out, then I did a bit of black splatter and added the cheers die-cut and put it on a slightly lighter green cardstock card that I did a bit of black splatter on the edges and masked the area where the flower would be ... 

The other one is done on an offwhite cardstock card using a Tim Holtz stencil and the same inks from the other card and the birthday sentiment in charcoal ink then adding the die-cut flower from the other card

A birthday card for a friend

 I used the same Serendipity paper and die-cut Celebration I made for my granddaughter's card just did it slightly differently... the embossing folder was party hats ...

Sorry it's been so long

 Life happens and it has really happened big time since Christmas of 2022 ... it's now May 20, 2023,
and I have only gotten 1 card made ... it's for my 1st grandchild's graduation from 8th grade, can't believe the next step is high school ... I used the serendipity strip which I created using a 4" wide double-sided tape and diagonal cut card stock with colors that coordinated leaving a bit of space in between so the last step of adding glitter would stick.
