I was looking thru a Somerset Memories August/September 2007 magazine not long ago and saw where
Shirley McCutcheon had take acrylic frames and transparency's and put them together and thought what a cool idea .... so this is my version just a little tweak and then I kicked the frame up a notch, I also couldn't find the white lined acetate frame that use to be everywhere so I made my own with a sheet of acetate and white rub-ons ..... this is a 31/2"x5" magnetic frame from Bed Bath and Beyond .....

Gorgeous!
Very creative, and artfully executed. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! This is lovely, Linda.
Absolutely beautiful, Linda! I love how you twisted the ribbon at the bottom.
awesome!
Hi Linda!
I love what you did with the shadowbox!!! I love the depth that the technique provides and I really like the way you made your own frame with the rub ons.
I based my technique on one developed by the wonderful Kathy Martin of Postmodern Designs, changing it up a bit. Transparencies are addictive and I seem to incorporate them into every thing I do.
I will be poking around your blog a bit because all of the things I have seen so far are wonderful.
regards,
Shirley
