Art Retreat via ZOOM

Well, my annual art retreat got canceled but our leader worked up a ZOOM retreat and it was a success ... we weren't able to hug and laugh like we always do but we did have a good time ... here are a few of the things we did ...

these were called "scrapies" which were just made up of little bits left over from other projects and things left on our tables .... they can be RAK's or ephemera for a junk journal ... just fun to make

Decorated envelopes, first one had to be with a flower as a focal point, the second one had to be recycled from a bill-paying envelope with a window, third was stamped and able to mail something in ...

this was a hanging tag with the images and idea provided to us ...

this is a trading coin with a theme of "Things with Wings"

these were thing from a Scavenger Hunt of our studios/craft rooms

the ZOOM meeting were fun, Bingo was played and plenty of talking was done ... all in all, it was a great substitute for our event being canceled

It sounds like it was a lot of fun and a great way to get like minded friends together. A great success all around. Sorry I didn't feel well enough to visit sooner, dear.

Hi Linda, I've come here via Elizabeth and Bleubeard, and I have been reading what you have been up to.
An art retreat via Zoom! That is a brilliant idea. And it looks like you had great fun. I like the idea of you being directed to make certain things, and do a scavenge hunt is fun too. And I can just imagine you all playing Bingo on Zoom... hilarious!
Thank you so much for sending Elizabeth all those bits and bobs in the beautiful holder.I am sure she will make good use of it.
Take care,
Lisca

I'm glad you were able to have the class online, instead of not at all. This covid-19 situation is awful in many ways. Lovely artwork.
