Made from scraps

ok, another YouTube that helped get my creative juices flowing is "The Firefly Studio67" ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OavTe35oaU&list=PLcS5_CvUn--pz0s9fuJk8SfAFGcBCnxS5&index=5 ... she has several things to make with book pages we all have leftover from projects ... and using up scraps lots of us have done the altering of paperclips before but these are the BIG ones so you can use them in journals to hold several things or just as a pretty on a page or tag

the 3 I made yesterday

one in a journal just as a pretty

this one on a tag ... IF you notice they are on opposite sides and this means you have to turn your paper clip over and attach that way or it will be decorating the backside of something on the right, or at least that is what I decided

Another Junk Journal page

I was really liking the little envelopes made from scraps so yep I used them again ... put some tags and journal cards in them so there would be journaling space ... the background is a digital print by Artymaze from Etsy called Printable Collage Sheet .... then on the back, I did the lined paper I had from an old journal of mine and the leftover from the digital print on the front with a G45 postcard to use for more journaling put in a tuck spot made from scraps ...

Little Holder

for Ephemera ... I watched a YouTube by "Wendy's Journal Adventure" for a stamp holder but I did the pockets a little different so I could use it for taking Ephemera I wanted to have when I went to art retreats ... her YouTube tutorial is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_PufXgKZ4I&t=24s

I used sari silk for my ribbon tie and a book page from " The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady" by Edith Holden that I got from Amazon

I added a pen holder because some of my labels are blank that I might want to use

as you can see I managed to stuff quite a bit of ephemera in mine ... oh I made an actual pocket for extra space where my lace and ribbon go ... the background paper is just scrapbook paper

this is what it looks like without the ephemera in the slots & pocket

this is the back which has one pocket and 2 slots all of these are made from vellum so you can see what is inside ... the front and back cover are from the book and the 2 middle ones have G45 card stock

this shows the pocket and slots better ...

She got a Ticket to Ride

this was for an online swap I did ... the theme is "She's got a Ticket to Ride" ... we were to do to strips of 5 tickets alter them and send to two different people ... I just did the card as an extra, using some of Tim Holtz collage paper and the little envelopes made from scrap paper and inked with Distressed Oxide inks ...

Sweet little card

I love this embossing folder ... I borrowed it from a friend so sorry I don't know who makes it, and I had to try out some of the Art Alchemy Metallique Wax, I used Bronze Age but first I did a few hits direct to paper with black soot just on the top of the embossing and a bit on the sides, let that dry then rubbed the wax all over the card, cut out the center with an oval cutter and put the image behind the cutout space ... I was very pleased with how it turned out ...
