Cleaning up the scraps form my desk ... again!!!

ok I had way too many scraps again so ... I had watched this video on YouTube and decided to use up some of the scraps and try this ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmsR2ynI5Wg ... they open and you can journal inside ... I thought they were a pretty neat thing to add you a Junk Journal ... oh yes that is embossing on the packaging plastic like the Tim Holtz thing come in ...

More Cards - 2 Christmas

The one in the middle is the same style card as the Christmas card in the other post just done in different color scheme with different trim ... makes for a really different looking card ... oh the paper is from some of my stash about 8 or so years ago ...

The 2 Christmas cards are kind of self-explanatory, I did use 2 sizes of circles die cuts to make the wreath which you might not have known how to do ...

Doing some Christmas Cards ...

Yes, it's getting close so I need to get more made ...

You can't see the 3 Wisemen very well in the photo but they do show up in real life, the gold is a gold leaf layer on 4" double-sided tape with the stencil then you take the stencil off and add loose glitter to stick to the rest of the tape add the diecut over that ...

More cards but not Christmas ...

I was running short or regular cards so had to get some done ...

Did a bit of scraps and glitter work along with dry embossing and gold leaf

Embossing with gold super fine powder and some pearl-x in water to spritz flowers and matt

these are doing Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and spritzing with water then doing the droplets of water ... quick easy and pretty ... oh the black flowers are die cuts as well as the Happy Birthday

I think it's time to make some cards ...

These I can use for Birthday, Get Well, Thank You, Just Because .... I need more of this type since my supply is running low ....

I forgot to mention that the backgrounds are made with the Distressed Oxide Inks, kind of fun to work with ...

A few more Christmas Cards

Think I am thru designing and just need to settle on one to do several cards ...

This one was fun to do ... after cutting out the Tim Holtz tree trunks thinlette die I got out one of his stencils that reminded me of snow falling and did some embossing paste with it and dusted "Distressed Rock Candy" glitter and gently pressed it into the paste ... let that dry and drug my "Faded Jeans" distress ink onto my falling snow embossing folder then embossed a white cardstock for the background ... when all was dry I mounted them onto a silver cardstock card

Yep I know it's August BUT

I have done some Halloween tags for an online swap and since it' been a while since I have posted anything I thought I would put these out there ...... each one is just a little different, I did use some Tim Holtz metal tape to do the numbers, first I embossed the tape with the Bingo card then I used alcohol ink to add some color and let that dry then cut them apart to use just as numbers ... I just love these images they are whimsical and yet appropriate for Halloween Spooky too ...
